Allergy-Free Baking - Treats for Everyone!
In 2002, my doctor told me the only way I could be "pain free in my feet again was to have painful surgery on both feet to shave down my bones." The two halves of that sentence were at EXACT opposite ends of the spectrum - so, like any good skeptic, I realized the short answer probably wasn't the right one. After a bit of research and a celiac test later, I discovered my issue wasn't my bones - but my breads. Cutting out gluten, I lost weight and became pain-free for the first time in years.
That was just the start of my journey, though. All four of my children, and my husband also were tested for and found out they have gluten allergies. At least it made it easier to experiment, since I had a captive audience!

After years of encouragement, I finally decided that if it was good enough for my family (and countless friends who have asked me time and time again when I'm going to start selling), I decided to bring GF Sugar and Spice to the world. Call it a desire to make sure that every child that has to go to a birthday party will always have an option to join in with everyone else - regardless their food needs. Everyone deserves to have fun and be a part of the party!
